Countdown to Fullyloaded at Port Royal’s Old Coal Wharf
With less than a week to go before the 2010 staging of the premium summer party, Fullyloaded, organisers of the event are ready to bring the capital city of Kingston alive on Friday August 6.
According to Chris Campbell, promotions manager for the event, this year marks a new era in the show’s development. “We wanted to spread that experience with more people and so came the idea to bring it to the Old Coal Wharf in Port Royal. The venue is fully paved unlike James Bond Beach and even Fort Clarence. Another change we have made is in how we present the show. Patrons can come out this year to a party atmosphere with the top sound systems and selectors bringing musical heaven to earth and then to top it all off we have our special international guest Ricky Blaze on the line up to perform alongside some of our own superstars.”
Already the promotional flags of the show have been flying high with an aggressive campaign on Facebook, radio, television and in the streets.
“Our fliers, posters and billboards can’t be missed. We started our television roll out last week and online we have a remarkable presence both on the social networks and popular entertainment websites who have been pushing our endorsements across the world, generating even more interest in the show,” Campbell said.
This year, the event is title sponsored by Guinness and the organisers note that frain or shine patrons can expect a memorable experience.
Fullyloaded will be hosted by Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Jabba and Ms Kitty.
