Entertaining end to Grand Gala
It was an entertaining finale as the curtains came down on the Independence Grand Gala inside Kingston’s National Stadium on Friday. The nearly four-hour long pageant which served to cap this year’s festival and independence celebrations culminated with a slew of popular artistes who brought the audience of thousands inside the venue to their feet. From current hitmaker, Richie Loop to dancer turned deejay Ding Dong, and Mr Festival, Roy Rayon, they all took to the huge stage mounted in the centre of the stadium’s football field to from where they entertained the masses.
