Exquisite gowns with seductive slits, sparkling accessories and elegant daywear befitting a queen were among Miss Jamaica Universe Yendi Phillipps’ favourite things.

In fact, the beaming beauty was more than happy to share stylish notes with SO as she fitted her wardrobe Thursday last inside the city-chic Kerry manwomanhome ahead of jetting off to Las Vegas, where the grand coronation show is set to take place at the Mandalay Bay on Sunday, August 23, 2010.

1 – Channelling Breakfast At Tiffany’s, Yendi wears an LBD — courtesy of Kerry manwomanhome — complete with a bejewelled neckline of pink pearls and rhinestones. The black fascinator is provided by Cinderella Hats.

2 – Yendi Phillipps is stylish in this Barry Moncrieffe creation, which features an asymmetrical neckline and flamenco bodice and fishtail skirt. The red fascinator — courtesy of Cinderella Hats — adds a pop of colour.

3 – Miss Jamaica Universe is cocktail-chic in this white embellished pumpkin BCBG Max Azria dress accessorised with chandelier crystal earrings.

4 – Lounging in this white jumpsuit with keyhole detailing at the neckline by designer Janel Jolly, Miss Jamaica Universe Yendi Phillipps displays her gifts for auction — a pair of Usain Bolt-autographed Puma spikes and artwork depicting the victorious Jamaica 4X100 relay team at the 2009 Olympics in Beijing, China.

5 – Evening elegance personified — Yendi is sure to add lots of sass to any soirée in this black sequin, knee-length, backless dress by Drenna Luna paired with black pumps.
