How can we live like this?
Dear Editor,
It is with deep regret and a chilling feeling of horror that I learned about the massacre in Tredegar Park last Thursday night.
Words cannot describe the pain and the anger that that entire community must now feel. The terror will live with them forever!
As a woman and a mother, my whole being has been disturbed. How can a nation live like this? How can it heal with the threat of this? Who looks after what is now left? How can we prevent it from ever happening again?
My sympathy and prayers go to the families and friends of Tredegar Park.
I urge my Government to reinstate the State of Emergency post-haste.
