Vivica A Fox finds out she’s dumped… by press release

The end of a relationship is always difficult, but Kill Bill star Vivica A Fox got dumped in a truly humiliating way — by press release. The actress’s club promoter boyfriend Slimm sent a notice saying they were “no longer dating,” to numerous media outlets last Wednesday, without telling her. Just one day later he sent out a second release — this time announcing that they were actually back together.

Slimm, it seems, had flipped out following an argument and decided to dump his love in the most public way possible — before realising he was being silly and overreacting. “Love is crazy sometimes!” Vivica, 46, laughed about the short-lived breakup from her 26-year-old toyboy. Slimm, the Atlanta-based co-founder of Plush Blue Entertainment. “Hey this is Slimm, unfortunately me and Vivica are no longer dating,” read the promoter’s pronouncement. “After eight months, it’s time to go our separate ways. In life you can love and have chemistry with a person, but flaws can sometimes outweigh the relationship. I wish her the best and I know she feels the same. Thanks.” But not even 24 hours later, Slimm had a change of heart and sent out a second release to announce he and Fox were back together. “I want to clear the air about the rushed statement released yesterday about Vivica and I breaking up. Sometimes a person may act out of anger,” he explained, and then apologised for “overreacting instead of letting time take its course.” He added: “Vivica is an important part of my life and I would never try to hurt her. Thanks for supporting us as we figure things out.” Vivica dismissed the releases in email responses to the story. “Slimm and I r fine!” she emailed the New York Daily News. “All relationships have their ups and their downs. I’m so proud that Slimm was man enough to clear up the air. He is a very good man with a great heart!” The couple have had public rows in the past. Self-confessed cougar Vivica lost her temper when he was seen flirting with girls at his April birthday party.

Suri the stylist! Katie Holmes’ miniature fashionista designs and makes her own clothes

She’s known as the youngest fashion trendsetter in Hollywood, sparking a craze for high-heeled Mary Janes when she was spotted wearing a pair, but now Katie Holmes has revealed that her fashionista daughter Suri Cruise designs and makes her own clothes. The four-year-old alters and puts her own outfits together.

“I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would sort of change up,” Katie said. “And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it. She says, I want this sleeve cut, and it’s like, Okay, we’ll cut it.” Suri is known as one of the best-dressed celebrity children, and parents Tom and Katie insist that the little girl is very strong-willed about her clothes and what she wears. “She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was one-and-a-half,” Katie told New York magazine, but she claims that Suri’s love of fashion comes from her, as she has always designed and made her own dresses. “I started making clothes for Suri when she was born, designing dresses, and then having seamstresses sew them, because I don’t sew very well. As a child, I was always drawing clothes, and I’ve always loved fabrics, and when Suri was born, I wanted to have certain things be from me and created just by me for her.” Katie has complete confidence in her four-year-old’s sense of style, even allowing her daughter to pick out clothes for Katie to wear on the red carpet. “Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago, and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn’t planning on wearing, but Suri made me put them on and so I was like, Okay, I trust you.”

Zsa Zsa Gabor in serious condition

A spokesman for Zsa Zsa Gabor says the actress is in serious condition at a Los Angeles hospital and has received the last rites.

John Blanchette described Gabor’s health situation on Sunday following her surgery a day earlier as “very sad”.

Blanchette told the Los Angeles Times that the 93-year-old Gabor asked for a priest and he administered the sacrament on Sunday morning. The paper reported that Gabor was being fed through a tube, but that doctors hoped to get her to eat without it.

Gabor underwent surgery for the removal of the clots from her upper body. She had broken her hip on July 17, had hip replacement surgery and was released from the hospital last Wednesday.
