Women of alleged gangsters taken in
THE St Catherine North police say they have picked up eight of 20 girlfriends or mothers of men who they want to question in relation to crimes in the division.

“I understand that three turned up this morning, and we picked up six during an operation yesterday,” Deputy Superintendent Andrew Edwards, crime officer for the area, told the Observer.
Another woman, Paula Miller — whose name was not on the police’s list — was among the six, he said.
Miller is the spouse of Rohan Hope, otherwise called ‘Placka’, who police say is a high-ranking member of the One Order gang.

The police could not name those who turned themselves in to the police this morning. He said that all are to be questioned later this afternoon.
