Styling with: Ce’Cile
SEXY, chic and never too revealing. That’s the style advice from dancehall’s bad gyal, Ce’Cile. The artiste is however quick to note that there is a major difference between what she wears on stage and her everyday life. “For stage I explore a lot more in terms of fashion, while in reality I am more reserved,” she pointed out.
And where does this diva go for her style choices? She admits that her career sees her travelling quite a lot and therefore she does a lot of shopping overseas. However, that does not prevent her from picking up pieces locally. She notes that the favourite outfit in her closet right now is a little black dress she bought at Shades, located in the Pulse Complex. “It is very Jackie O. Simple, elegant, classic and timeless…I am simply dying for the perfect opportunity to wear it. The truth is, I buy clothes and shoes wherever I see it. When driving around if a see something I like, I am just gonna buy it, doesn’t matter where it is.” Speaking of shoes, Ce’Cile admits to being a Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker’s character in Sex and the City) and just can’t have too many pairs. She has a preference for stilettos and wedges and she says they give her height and truly complete an outfit.
Her final touch to any look is her scent. “Oh God, that is another obsession of mine. These days its My Insolence by Guerlain. But I am never out of Ultra Red by Paco Rabanne.”
For the men who want to get second look or in this case, a second sniff from the bad gyal, she recommends 1 Million, also by Paco Rabanne. “It is the sexiest scent for a man. If he wears it when going on a date, he is bound to get lucky,” she declares.
