Easy Klum, easy go! Heidi says ‘auf wiedersehen!’ to Victoria’s Secret

It looks like one of the Victoria’s Secret angels is finally flying away.

Heidi Klum has announced she is leaving the lingerie company after 13 highly successful years.

As ‘Head Angel’, Heidi has been one of the most famous and recognisable faces of the brand. And now she’s decided the time has come to move on.

The IMG supermodel says: “All good things have to come to an end. I will always love Victoria’s Secret. It has been an absolutely amazing time.”

Heidi first walked for the company in 2002, and hosted the 2002, 2006, 2007, and 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

She completely stole the show last year by walking the runway in lingerie just five weeks after giving birth.

Now that Heidi is leaving, a new ‘Head Angel’ will have to be appointed, and speculation is already rife as to who will be the chosen one.

As both Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes are pregnant, Alessandria Ambrosio and Adriana Lima are in the running.

As well as her Victoria’s Secret work, Heidi has been involved in many other projects, though perhaps most popularly known for being the host, judge and executive producer of highly successful reality TV show Project Runway.

She is also the host, judge and coproducer of Germany’s Next Top Model.

Shakira, Shakira! Colombian singer shows off her killer abs in new video Loca.

Shakira is back to what she does best in her new music video.

The Colombian singer squeezes into a gold bikini top and sequinned trousers, showing off her killer abs as she shakes those famous hips.

Shot on a stunning Barcelona beach, Shakira, 33, duets with British rapper Dizzee Rascal for her latest offering, Loca.

It is the first single from her upcoming album The Sun Comes Out (Sale el Sol), which is due out on October 19.

In the video, Shakira gets up close and personal a male dancer as they put on a sultry routine together.

The storyline sees the pop star go on a madcap adventure that includes roller-skating, public wardrobe changes, motorbike riding and dancing around in a fountain.

She filmed the video during a visit to the Spanish city in August. It was directed by longtime Shakira collaborator, Jaume de Laiguana.

For the video, Shakira, who didn’t get any permits, danced in a public fountain (Pla de Palau fountain) and rode on the back of a motorcycle with her hair flowing in the wind, when she should have worn a helmet.

According to the New York Post, Barcelona authorities are considering fining the singer for stopping traffic as she filmed sequences. Her actions are considered a violation of strict antisocial behaviour laws.

Invading China: Charlotte Ronson set for world domination with the preview of her new collection

She is already the most successful of the Ronson siblings.

But now 33-year-old fashion designer Charlotte Ronson, sister to Samantha and Mark, is taking over the globe one country at a time.

The designer recently presented her Fall 2010 collection at The House of Roosevelt on the Bund in Shanghai, China and the runway show marked the start of an exclusive deal which will see Ronson’s clothing in up to 200 stores across Asia in the next few years.

Charlotte and her business partner Aaron Nir signed a deal with MH Concepts, a privatelyowned Hong Kong and Shanghai based company that was founded in 2007 by Meanne Ho, ex vice president of The Gap Inc Asia Pacific.

The alliance, which was officially kicked off with a party and presentation, launches with stores opening in the next few weeks in Shanghai, Hong Kong and then more locations next spring.

The first store opened its doors last Monday in the prestigious IFC Mall in Shanghai.

Stores in Beijing and Guangzhou are planned for opening in summer 2011.
