Three advance in D’Cup
MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Manchester High led three more schools to book places in the next round of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup schoolboys’ football competition yesterday.
Despite not taking the field, Manchester High, who got points from their unplayed game against Cross Keys earlier in the week, advanced from Zone G after Knox College was held 0-0 by Spalding.
Brown’s Town advanced from Zone C to join Marcus Garvey Technical after a 2-1 win over Ocho Rios, while Charlemont joined Old Harbour High from Zone J after a big 6-0 win over Ewarton.
Eleven schools have now earned places in the next round including St James High, Mannings School and Paul Bogle High who booked their places on Wednesday.
The others through to the next round are Rusea’s High, Marcus Garvey Technical, St Elizabeth Technical, Munro College and Old Harbour High.
