In the meantime, residents in the yam parish, Trelawny, were in for their share of fun and excitement on Saturday with the annual Albert Town Day celebrations coinciding with Digicel’s Community Day Out event in Albert Town.
“Community festivals such as the Port Royal Seafood Festival, Nyammins and Jammins, Albert Town Day and our Community Day Out play a pivotal role in bringing together communities and creating opportunities for social and economic development. Over the years, proceeds from these festivals have been donated to several causes and charities within the parishes and across Jamaica. We’re very excited to be a part of these events over the long weekend and look forward to another opportunity to further connect with our customers and their families in their communities,” White added.
