Scotiabank, JNBS to decide Inter-Bank final
DEFENDING champions Scotiabank Group and Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) will meet in the final of the JNBS/Western Sports Norman Goodison Inter-Bank football competition today at UWI, Mona, starting at 3:00 pm.
Both teams made it to the final after securing respective 1-0 and 2-0 victories over Bank Of Jamaica and Pan Caribbean/Sagicor at the NWC field last Sunday.
The Miguel Coley-coached JNBS will rely on goalkeeper Javon Spence, Lauren Riley, Mark Powell, Deshorne Clarke, Jair Minott and Kimani Young for victory, while the Calvert Fitzgerald-coached Scotiabank will be seeking their third straight title and will be looking to the leading goalscorer Richard West (eight goals), Nicholas McCreath, Elgin Mitchell, Donovan Hibbert, Tavar McQueen, Norwayne Knight and Stefan Bartley.
