Gas prices up again
EX-REFINERY petrol prices are again on the rise with octane 87 and 90 increasing by $1.02 per litre and diesel up 95 cents per litre effective yesterday.
Two weeks ago, the price of octane 87 and 90 petrol increased by $1.16 per litre, while diesel went up 86 cents per litre. And last week, Petrojam dropped the prices on both 87 and 90 gasoline by 98 cents per litre with diesel fuel seeing the steepest fall coming down by $1.16 per litre.
Petrojam, the island’s sole oil refinery, publishes ex-refinery petrol movement on Wednesday of each week.
