Thanks for an inspiring journey
Dear Editor,
A fearless intellect, a resolute will and perhaps an enigmatic spirit has departed from this mortal life.
We at the Creative Production and Training Centre Limited and Media Technology Institute, mark with reverent respect the transition of our friend and colleague John Maxwell and celebrate his lettered and enlightened contribution to the qualitative growth and development of local and regional media, particularly journalism.
We recall his penchant for forthright dialogue, aversion for lethargic thought and intolerance of caprice, but will remember in the studio of our minds his sensitivity to mastery of our faculties and creative sensibilities.
To those who trenched and paved the way for us and who are now gone from our paths, CPTC and MTI say, “Thank you for an inspiring journey”.
We record our unreserved gratitude to John Maxwell and, as members of the media fraternity, we hail him as an elder brother and eulogise his legacy to the household.
