Walk good, John

Dear Editor,

I wish to pay tribute to a dear friend and former “boss”, John Maxwell. In the mid-70s I worked as his assistant on the very popular Public Eye programme on JBC radio.

I have read some of the many tributes to him and really just want to express how very well most people have captured the essence of the man John Maxwell was. As the saying goes, to know John was to love him. He was a great champion of the underdog and was undoubtedly one of the most fair-minded people I have ever met. Walk good, my friend!
