Dancehall artiste Chuckle Berry is very excited about his latest single, Bumpa on the hot Saudi Arabia riddim.

Chuckle Berry said after he heard the Saudi Arabia rhythm he decided that he was going to recording something for what he has termed the Gaza generation. “I decided that I had do a song on it with a different vibe, everybody use to me singing all these cultural one drop tunes more time, but I decide to do something for this new set of dancehall fans. When all the girls hear this one they just have to keep bouncing to it, that mean the youths them a go love it too.

Bumpa was recorded at Malbeque Studio in Canada and released a few weeks ago, and according to the artiste, since then it has been receiving strong airplay on radio stations in Canada and the USA. Chuckle Berry also said that a video will be shot in support of the single in a few weeks time and that his fans can expect more of this kind of music from him although he does not plan to abandon his cultural roots.

Chuckle Berry is also doing well with other songs such as See Say Dem gone which is currently number six on Italy’s DJ Gusma T’s Top Twenty Reggae Chart and So Bad which recently topped the Toronto radio station CKLN 88.1 FM’s top 11 charts. So Bad is featured on Sly & Robbie’s compilation CD which was nominated in the Best Reggae Album category at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

Chuckle Berry is currently on a promotional tour of Canada as he prepares for the release of his debut album, which is slated for release this summer. The album will feature several songs that were produced by legendary Jamaican producers Sly and Robbie.
