Janet Jackson opens up about her father in revealing interview
It was widely known that patriarch of the Jackson family, Joe Jackson, was a stern disciplinarian when it came to his famous children.
The father and manager of the Jackson clan, his image became tarnished when it was reported that he was abusive towards his children. The late Michael Jackson had often said that from a young age he was physically and emotionally abused by his father. Now his sister Janet Jackson has opened up about her own rocky relationship with her father in a recent revealing interview with Piers Morgan. “I think my father means well… and wants nothing but the best for his kids… but that is not necessarily the right way,” she said of Joe Jackson to the British interviewer. The 44-year-old singer recalled the time that her father struck her when she was a little girl as she was getting out of the bathtub. “I don’t remember if I truly deserved it,” she said.
She told Morgan that besides that particular incident, he never again laid a finger on her. She said that her relationship with her father is now a distant one, and that the two hardly speak. “We don’t speak that much… honestly it’s not that often,” she said. When asked if she was sad that she didn’t have a good relationship with her father, she replied, “I wish our relationship was different, but I know that he loves me.”

Malcolm In The Middle star Frankie Muniz denies suicide bid
Former child star Frankie Muniz has denied that he held a gun to his head “with the intent of committing suicide” during a heated row with his girlfriend. According to a police report, the 25-year-old actor allegedly held a loaded gun to his head before later punching Elycia Turnbow, celebrity website TMZ reported. The report was filed last Friday in Phoenix, Arizona, and claims that Muniz assaulted his girlfriend after getting into a row over “prior relationships”. It says that after holding the gun to his head, the actor left the house for a while before returning sometime later. The couple then began rowing again, according to the report, which resulted in Muniz allegedly punching Turnbow and throwing her into a wall. Police later found a loaded gun at their home, which has now been impounded. Muniz was once considered one of Hollywood’s most bankable teens, playing the title role in the Fox comedy Malcolm In The Middle. In 2008 he put his acting career on ice to pursue racecar driving. He is also a drummer in the band You Hang Up. The day after the incident was filed by police, Muniz posted a message on his Facebook page, writing: “Looking forward to the You Hang Up show at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale tonight.”

Joan Rivers barges in on daughter in the shower… and takes naked pictures of her
Joan Rivers’ daughter may well be regretting letting her mother move into her Los Angeles pad. A shocked Melissa is seen here in stills from their reality show shrieking in horror after her mother barged into the bathroom while she was showering. The 77-year-old comedian then proceeded to take photos of her 43-year-old daughter on her mobile phone. The footage was broadcast on their reality TV show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best. In the show Melissa is asked to do some naked photos by Joan Francis, the creator of the adult video series Girls Gone Wild. For some reason Joan appears very keen for Melissa to take part, saying she is “determined to make it happen”.
In an apparent bid to persuade her, Joan breaks into the bathroom and starts snapping away on her mobile phone. She says that once her daughter sees how amazing her body is she might be keen on taking part in the Francis photo shoot.
