Students, imagine sitting in your computer lab and talking with your peers half way across the island. Imagine your debate team or key club sharing ideas through live, clear, non-buffering video links with other students in other schools. Teachers, imagine the same, talking to your peers and not being limited by the resources available on your desk or at school.

With Flow’s Blazing High-Speed Internet connections, the possibilities of enhanced learning and teaching are endless.

Through Flow’s Building Leaders Through Technology programme, we have invested more than $33 million dollars a year to ensure that public schools throughout the island receive complimentary commercial grade internet, as well as an educational cable line. Soon, through a contract with the Government of Jamaica, Flow will increase the reach of broadband internet in schools, bringing internet speeds up to an unheard of 100Mbps.

A major cause of the Building Leaders Programme is to establish partnerships with other organizations to bring about more benefits to students, including computers for labs, and mentorship and skills building activities. As such, we are extremely pleased to partner with the Jamaica Observer in this very important Lecture Series to help prepare young students for upcoming examinations.
