LOCAL laughter returns to TVJ this weekend with a five-part series featuring the best of the Ity and Fancy Cat Show Season 3. The ‘mini-season’ of humour will air for five Fridays at 9:30 pm (after Entertainment Report) starting this Friday, April 29. The fifth airing will be followed by a special televised edition of the media launch, which will precede the highly anticipated premiere of the new season.

According to Tiffany Nugent of Ellis International, producers of the show, “this is actually a wonderful way to resume the momentum of laughter, and get the viewers warmed up for what promises to be a very special season four”.

The rebroadcast will give audiences another opportunity to watch the antics of the duo, and relive some of the moments from the popular sketch and stand-up comedy show

Ity and Fancy Cat are currently juggling a very busy schedule of live performances while doing production work on the new season.

When asked about what viewers can expect in the new season, the duo and their management team were very secretive. In the words of production manager, Blakka Ellis: “We’re not going to say too much right now, except that you can expect laughter galore, that’s for sure; and many heart-stopping surprises.”
