INGREDIENTS
SPAGHETTI
1 pack spaghetti
1 spoon butter
Thyme
Escallion
1 Maggi Bouillon cube (or Garlic Salt)
SHRIMP
1 pack shrimp (medium or large)
Escallion (diced)
Onion (sliced)
Sweet pepper (sliced)
1 spoon butter
Fish seasoning
SAUCE
Honey
Chinese soy sauce
METHOD
SPAGHETTI
1 Find a pot wide enough to hold the spaghetti without breaking them. Put water in it to a little over a 1/4.
2 Put pot with water on medium flame and add the Maggi cube, scallion and thyme.
3 When water starts to boil add the spaghetti and butter.
4 Allow to boil for about 10 minutes or until cooked then pour off excess water left in the pot.
5 Remove the scallion and thyme stem from the pot.
SHRIMP
6 Remove any shell on the shrimp and rinse.
7 Place shrimp in a dish and add a cork of vinegar.
8 Add enough fish seasoning (not too much) and mix thoroughly with a spoon.
9 Put a spoonful of oil in a frying pot. Add the sweet pepper, escallion and onion to the oil and heat over medium flame.
10 When the seasoning starts to fry pour in the shrimp and add the butter then cover the pot.
11 Allow to cook for 10-12 minutes.
(NOTE: There will be water in the pot after awhile. Allow the water to dry out but not too much)
SAUCE
12 On low flame, add the spaghetti to the shrimp in the frying pot and stir to evenly distribute shrimp.
13 Add a spoon of honey and mix.
14 Pour soy sauce to obtain a desired colour. Do not pour too much because the taste will change.
15 Allow food to simmer for a minute then turn off stove.
16 Serve hot. Can be eaten with a sauce or alone.
NB: Do not attempt without parental supervision.
