Cutters cycle coast-to-coast for charity
TODAY, the Cutters Cycling Club, a 45-member group of riders, will embark on a 417-mile, three-day ride around Jamaica stopping at various churches to raise funds for charity.
Starting at 6:00 am at the Holy Trinity Cathedral on North Street in Kingston, the riders will head south through Morant Bay, Port Antonio, Annotto Bay, with Oracabessa being their first stop.
On Day Two, the group heads for Mary Gate of Heaven in Negril, making stops at Discovery Bay, Falmouth and Montego Bay. On Labour Day, the Club heads home, travelling back to Kingston after stops in Santa Cruz, Mandeville and Old Harbour, before they come full circle at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
Part proceeds from the fifth charity ride undertaken by the Cutters Cycling Club will go to the Holy Trinity Cathedral’s restoration projects.
