Has Liz Hurley given Shane Warne a metrosexual makeover?

Has Liz Hurley given Shane Warne a metrosexual makeover?

Elizabeth Hurley has maintained her stunning figure with a wide array of controversial diets over the years. But after new boyfriend Shane Warne revealed he’s lost 22 pounds over the past few months, fans are wondering if his model girlfriend has influenced his diet. The Australian cricketer showed off his slimmed-down physique in a tight T-shirt Friday last as he launched his clothing line in Mumbai, India. Standing next to svelte Hurley, 45, in tops from his Spinners range, there was no denying Warne looked better than he has done in years. Although Warne’s manager insisted his new slimline look was down to a health kick of his own decision, many have noticed the sportsman’s more coiffed appearance in recent months. His manager James Erskine laughed off speculation that diet-conscious Hurley had influenced her boyfriend, insisting the 42-year-old was simply getting fitter so he could match his twenty-something teammates in the Rajasthan Royals. Erskine said: “He has been on a real fitness campaign since about eight weeks before he went to India.”

Kanye West heads to Cannes charity bash in a $1.7m limited edition Mercedes

When you’re off to party with the famously extravagant Elton John, normal statements of wealth and fame just won’t cut it. Luckily Kanye West knew just how to impress as he donned a tuxedo and arrived in a rare $1.7-million Mercedes sports car. The rapper, 33, tore himself away from partying on a string of multi-million dollar yachts in the south of France to enjoy a spin around the quaint streets of Cannes in a 75 Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss sports car. The powerful motor has a top speed of 217mph and there are believed to only be a handful of the cars in existence. Kanye and his friend were on their way to one of the most exciting Cannes parties of the year, the annual amfAR dinner and auction, held at the Hotel du Cap in the Cap d’Antibes. The rapper joined a host of glittering stars from the film and fashion world at the black tie event. Only big names made the guest list including fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, actress Kristen Dunst and Oscar winner, Sean Penn.

Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery to battle it out in American Idol final

The next American Idol will be Lauren Alaina or Scotty McCreery – after Haley Reinhart was eliminated from the show. Alaina, 16, and McCreery, 17, will go head to head for the tenth American Idol title this Tuesday. A record 95 million votes were recorded after the semi-final show. Country crooner Scotty McCreery was the first to find out he had made it through followed by Lauren Alaina. McCreery and Alaina will face off Tuesday, with the 10th season Idol champion crowned on Wednesday. It will mark the youngest finale matchup in Idol history. Producers lowered the minimum age requirement to 15 years old this season, which allowed Alaina, who’s been compared to fourth season Idol winner Carrie Underwood, the chance to audition last year.
