Lady Gaga admits she went bankrupt
Lady Gaga has admitted she was left bankrupt after spending millions on crazy outfits for her Monster Ball tour. The 25-year-old singer said she was left £1.82 million in debt after the production, which ran for 18 months and 200 shows. However, Gaga — famed for her unique fashion sense, including the now infamous meat dress she wore to last year’s MTV Video Music Awards — revealed she had no idea about the extent of her financial problems. She said: “Other than that I put everything in the show, and I actually went bankrupt after the first extension of the Monster Ball. And it was funny because I didn’t know! And I remember I called everybody and said, ‘Why is everyone saying I have no money? This is ridiculous, I have five No. 1 singles’ — and they said, ‘Well, you’re $3m in debt.'” It was the rejigging at the beginning of the tour, which eventually brought in £138 million, that cost the most money. But Gaga said the reason she didn’t know about the bankruptcy was because money isn’t that important to her.

Adele’s record boss slams rise of ‘faux porn’ music
Female pop stars using ‘faux porn’ to sell records are ‘boring, crass and unoriginal’, a leading music executive said Monday last. The entertainment industry is too reliant on promoting female singers such as Rihanna with overly sexualised videos, according to record label boss Richard Russell. His comments reflect growing concern that lewd dance routines, revealing outfits and sexually explicit lyrics in mainstream culture are having a detrimental effect on children. Almost 3,000 people complained that raunchy performances in the X Factor final last December by Rihanna and Christina Aguilera were too explicit. TV watchdog Ofcom faced criticism after it ruled the routines were ‘at the limit’ of acceptability for broadcast before 9pm for a family audience. Mr Russell, whose label XL represents chart-topper Adele, suggested the 23-year-old could change attitudes because she focuses on music instead of sexuality. He told the Guardian: “The whole message with [Adele] is that it’s just music, it’s just really good music. There are no gimmicks, no selling of sexuality. He said both young girls and music bosses would take note of her success, adding: “It’s going to make them rethink what they should be doing.”

Khloe Kardashian fears she may never have children
Khloe Kardashian has admitted that she is “freaking out” about her struggle to get pregnant. The reality star and husband Lamar Odom have been trying to conceive for some time and in the final installment of their show, Khloe & Lamar, she finally crumbles under the pressure following another round of fertility testing. She tells Lamar: “I’m sorry for snapping at you and being on edge lately, but I’ve been holding a lot of stuff in and trying not to bother you, but I’ve been freaking out about why I’m not pregnant. It’s scary [thinking], ‘Oh God, what if I physically can’t have kids?'”. Odom, who married Khloe in 2009 after just 32 days together, was more optimistic. “It’ll work out. If something is wrong, that doesn’t affect anything [we’re] going to do [as a couple],” he said. “We’re not going to give up.” Odom has two children, Destiny, 12, and Lamar Jr., eight, with his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales.
