The drama unfolds – Hilton’s alleged stalker nabbed

People Post

Paris Hilton’s alleged ‘stalker’ was arrested on Monday outside her twostorey Malibu beach house, while she celebrated the Fourth of July inside. The man, identified as James Rainford, was allegedly seen looking inside the house by photographers before police confronted him. He was then arrested on suspicion of violating a judge’s order to stay away from the 30-year-old reality show star, according to a police statement. Beach-goers witnessed Rainford, 36, of Los Angeles, being handcuffed and taken away in a patrol car at around 4.30pm on Monday.

“He was hanging around on the beach while Paris was inside,” said an eyewitness. It was further revealed that someone recognised him as being the man who had given her trouble in the past and the cops arrived pretty quickly. They checked him out and led him away; he was handcuffed and put into the police car. Paris had been out on her balcony that day; it was obvious she was in there. The arrest follows Rainford serving a brief period in jail earlier this year after pleading no contest ‘ to misdemeanour battery when he allegedly struck Hilton’s then boyfriend, Cy Waits, on the back of the head outside court in April. However, he is reported to have been released early after serving just 24 days of his 227-day sentence. Back in January, Rainford had also pleaded ‘no contest’ in a trespass case after he was arrested on charges of trying to contact Hilton at her home in the Hollywood Hills. He was sentenced to three years’ probation and ordered to stay 200 yards away from Hilton’s property.

‘For me, it’s tougher to be vulnerable than to be tough’

Rihanna has revealed her dating secrets — and says the laws of attraction are just the same as those of the hunter and his prey — though she sees herself as a hunter too. Talking in the new issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, she said: “I’m open to love. But guys should have to earn it. Because the minute they get it, they want something else. Men are like hunters; they like the chase. So you have to keep ’em guessing. Actually, I’m like that too. I get bored quickly. So if someone can make me laugh, that’s the best.”

She also revealed that she struggles to reveal her softer side, saying: “For me, it’s tougher to be vulnerable than to be tough,” adding, “It can definitely be intimidating to guys to date someone in this industry. And it’s really hard to find a guy who doesn’t care about that stuff. Right now, it’s easier just having my career to focus on.” However, the Bajan star said that she didn’t have a specific type. She mused: “I’m turned on to a guy by different things. It could be the way he looks. It could be his intelligence. It’s really a spontaneous thing.” The singer, who stars on the cover of the August issue of Cosmopolitan UK, opens up in the interview about the aftermath of the domestic violence incident concerning her ex, singer Chris Brown. She said: “It was a very aggressive and defensive time, and that allowed me to start not giving a shit. I walked around with a very f***-you attitude. I’ve always been good at masking my emotions. Anytime I didn’t want to deal with how I felt, I’d put up my guard. But I’ve started not doing that.”

The secret’s out

Miranda Kerr has revealed her unusual health and beauty secrets in a new interview.

The Victoria’s Secret model, who gave birth to her son Flynn six months ago, credits Tahitian Noni Juice, a drink made from the noni plant, and coconut oil for her supermodel glow. She tells Australia’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “I’ve been drinking it since I was 14, and when I’ve got a long day ahead of me, it’s the one thing I can’t live without.” Kerr also preaches the benefits of coconut oil, which is claimed to benefit everything from skin and hair to weight loss. She said: “I personally take four tablespoons of coconut oil per day, either on my salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea. I will not go a day without coconut oil.” The healthconscious, 5′ 9″ star put the results of her lifestyle on show on Saturday as she left the gym in Los Angeles, and it was clear to see her active lifestyle and healthy diet have most definitely paid off.
