Embarrassment for Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church has reached a new low after she was apparently videoed in a drunken clinch with boyfriend Jonathan Powell. In the video, it seems the 25-year-old singer is leaning against the side of a van with a man, who looks like Powell, leaning on top of her as the pair enjoy a racy tryst. After their encounter, the woman is seen with her knickers around her ankles as she is led back to the party. Fellow guest Jim Davies told The Sun: “I couldn’t believe it. She clearly had no shame. The pair started getting amorous like teenagers — until someone came past. She was so drunk she couldn’t even pull her knickers up. She almost fell over.”

The clinch came after Charlotte performed the Welsh national anthem at a party at Glanusk Park, Powys, in aid of a children’s hospital that the Voice of an Angel singer is a patron of. Charlotte, who also unveiled her new bright red hair last weekend, is no stranger to embarrassing herself while drunk. Before she had her children, three-year-old Ruby and Dexter, two, with ex-fiancé Gavin Henson, Charlotte said in an interview that she loved getting drunk on nights out. She said: “I can sink ’em! If I’m home, I’ll start with a Cheeky Vimto — double port and a bottle of WKD Blue in the same glass. It tastes just like Vimto or Ribena. They’re lethal. Once I’m out, I’ll have about 10 double vodkas. Then I’m pretty much KO’ed. But if I’m in London, the club owners give me loads of bottles of free champagne. I hate champagne. I still drink it though.” However, Charlotte then added: “I don’t actually like alcohol. If I’m having a meal I’ll have lemonade. The only time I drink is to get p***ed and dance like a crazy woman.” Charlotte has been dating singer-songwriter Jonathan since they met while working on her most recent album Back To Scratch.

It’s getting serious!

Nick Jonas’s romance with Delta Goodrem reached a new milestone after he introduced the Australian singer to his family. The 18-year-old Jonas Brothers star took the 26-year-old along to his mother Denise’s birthday celebration at LA restaurant, Villa Blanca, on Tuesday. Nick’s older brother Kevin, 23, and his wife Danella also joined in the dinner at the celebrity haunt, which is owned by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump. The pair left the establishment hand in hand, with Goodrem carrying a single red rose. The blonde, a huge star in Australia with ambitions to break America, opted for a suitably demure pink dress with gold detailing and a cardigan. She also wore flat gold sandals to avoid towering over her young beau. She was first romantically linked to musician Jonas in May, shortly after her seven-year relationship with Irish singer Brian McFadden ended. While Jonas has so far not directly commented on his new romance, he has said that he is “in a really good place” and feels “blessed”. The teen heartthrob’s rumoured former flames include Disney stars Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.

From rap singer to runway star?

Kanye West made headlines at Coachella when he wore a women’s shirt by French label Celine. But it looks as though he has womenswear on the mind as he is rumoured to be debuting a collection at New York Fashion Week this year. And it appears the singer, who has design studios in New York and London, isn’t leaving anything to chance. He has enlisted the help of British knitwear designer Louise Goldin and St Martins professor Louise Wilson to give him lessons, Grazia Daily revealed. The Gold Digger singer is often pictured front row at Fashion Week and has already designed a range of scarves featuring his album artwork. The range included the cover of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which he eventually had to withdraw after it was deemed too graphic. He was also a fashion columnist for online magazine Complex. If his music videos are anything to go by, however, Kanye’s collection is sure to be controversial. The 33-year-old attracted criticism last month after featuring models hanging with nooses around their necks and a couple feasting on a human corpse for new single Monster.
