Timberlake gets asked out by a female marine
It appears that a double date is on the cards for co-stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. After the 27-year-old actress accepted a date from a marine soldier this week, a clever female officer thought she would try her luck by asking the 30-year-old SexyBack singer out. Just like Mila, Justin was invited to the November Marine Corps Ball in Washington DC by Kelsey De Santis, a Virginia-based Marine via YouTube. In the video, the pretty blonde officer says: “So Justin, do you want to call out my girl Mila? So I am going to call you out, and invite you to the Marine Corps ball with me on Nov 12th in Washington D.C.” And it seems likely that his answer will be yes, after it was Justin who was the one to encourage Mila to accept her invitation in the first place.
Justin was blown away when he and Mila were shown a video of a cheeky sergeant by the name of Scott Moore proposing the date on Fox411, during a promotional interview for Friends With Benefits. Justin said: “Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country. I’m going to work on this man. This needs to go down.” Ukraine-born Mila nodded and said: “I’ll go. I’ll do it for you.” In his own video invitation, Justin was also given a warning about what will happen if he declines. De Santis joked in the clip, “If you can’t go, all I can say is, cry me a river.” If he does attend, it will not the first time the SexyBack star has shown his appreciation for the US military.

Looking ace!
She made a triumphant return to the tennis circuit at Wimbledon last month after having taken almost a year off due to illness. And on Wednesday, Serena Williams scored another ace as she successfully managed to steal the show at the ESPY Awards as she posed on the red carpet wearing a plunging pink mini dress. The skin-tight outfit, which featured detailing to make it look like a suit jacket and skirt, drew attention to Serena’s voluptuous figure and highlighted her most prominent assets. Serena is famous for her curvy figure, which is the polar opposite of sister Venus’s athletic, muscular physique. But the sports star admits it took her a while to accept her figure and adopt a healthy attitude to diet and exercise. She said recently: “Since I don’t look like every other girl, it takes a while to be okay with that. To be different, but different is good. My smile remains my favourite part of my body. Does that count? I think a smile can make your whole body!” She said: “I wanted to get really fit. I wanted to lose some weight. So I’ve been doing Pilates and yoga, trying to lean out my body so I won’t be bulky.” And referring to the prospect of dieting, Serena said: “I don’t even know the D-word. (I have) smaller portions of every meal, a lot of grilled or baked chicken or fish, and steamed veggies. But I can never turn down a good piece of cherry pie. All I know is that in 10 years, I don’t want to be as wide as this couch.”

£3,000 on stretch mark cream?
With the media desperate to catch a glimpse of Harper Seven Beckham and her glamorous mother, you can forgive Victoria for wanting to look her very best. No wonder, then, that the designer got her aides to splash out £3,000 on stretch mark removal cream just minutes after she gave birth last Sunday evening at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Eight boxes containing 50 bottles of Rodial’s Stretch MX — worth £2,950 — were delivered to Victoria and David’s Beverly Hills mansion. The cream claims to make unsightly lines vanish within weeks and is also a favourite of Kate Hudson, Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba. A spokeswoman for the company said: “We were happy to meet Victoria’s requirements. Over 94% of women buying Stretch MX are using the product pre or post-pregnancy — it is by far our best-selling product for expecting mothers.” The multi-fruit acids promote younger-looking skin by increasing cell renewal, while tripeptides stimulate cell growth and tissue repair, giving the skin a smooth and even texture. It is also said to help to reduce the formation of new stretch marks and exfoliate dead skin cells and boost cell renewal.
