While on the promotional tour for Sex and the City 2, Sarah Jessica Parker was photographed wearing a string of outfits by Halston Heritage. It was seemingly the beginning of a lifelong friendship but just two and a half years later, the pair has reportedly parted ways. The actress was made President and Creative Director of Halston’s Diffusion Line last January but it recently emerged that her contract has not been renewed. Although no official comment has been made, news broke last week after Vogue US referred to her exit in an interview with the actress. Vogue said: “When Sex and the City, to her own surprise, made her a fashion star, she launched her own design label and perfumes, as well as signing on to run the Halston Heritage label, a relationship that recently came to an end.’ The label, originally started by Tamara Mellon, has reportedly been fraught with financial difficulties. Within six months of the actress’s signing, CEO Bonnie Takhar, who was meant to be helping Parker with her role, was dismissed. At the time, Parker was knee-deep in design and marketing for the label, working 16-hour days and even revealed that being involved with the brand was a ‘learning experience’.

‘Wild Thing’ Rapper Tone Loc pleads not guilty

Rapper Tone Loc has pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of an assault weapon and domestic violence. The ‘Wild Thing’ star appeared at Burbeck Superior Court in California last Thursday after he was arrested last month on the charges. The now 45-year-old Loc, whose real name is Anthony Smith, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after an alleged incident described as ‘a physical altercation with the mother of his child.’ During the incident police officers are believed to have found the singer’s unregistered Colt AR-15 Sporter gun. He was arrested and booked before being released on $50,000 bail. Loc’s next court appearance, a preliminary hearing, is set for July 28. Loc shot to fame in the late 1980s with his huge chart hits Wild Thing and Funky Cold Medina. The four-time Grammy nominee also appeared alongside Jim Carrey in the 1994 film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. This incident is not the first time he has been in trouble with the police. In January, he was arrested for driving under the influence after being spotted driving erratically. He was, however, later released on bail.

Reality Star Kris Jenner Goes Under Knife for Daughter’s Wedding

Jenner, a 55-year-old reality star and mother of six went under the knife about a month ago. She reportedly did this to rejuvenate herself before her daughter Kim Kardashian’s wedding next month. Kris Jenner’s facelift has been captured on camera for her reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The video footage of Kris before and after surgery was recently released on the E! Website – the network behind the family’s reality shows. It shows Kris in tears as she sits in the waiting room surrounded by her children. ‘I don’t want to die,’ says a nervous Kris. Kim soothes her by saying: ‘Don’t be nervous. If you’re scared you don’t have to do this. I’m sure everyone gets scared.’ The children then pile on top of their mother for a group hug before they wave her off to surgery. Kris gave a sneak peek of her new face on June 30 when she joined Kim for a bridal dress fitting at Vera Wang in New York. Of course, the reality TV family are no strangers to plastic surgery. Kris’s husband Bruce Jenner has had several facelifts, while her daughter Kourtney has had a breast enlargement.
