Reggae Jammin Plus Vol 2 one great collection
SINCE Reggae Jammin Plus Vol 2 was released late last year, the double-disc compilation album has been receiving rave reviews from music pundits.
The album, which was executively produced by Tad’s Record International, is chock-full of some hard-hitting numbers.
Among the top artistes featured on Reggae Jammin Plus Vol 2 are Maxi Priest, Gregory Isaacs, Sizzla, Richie Spice, Jah Cure, I-Octane, Black Judah, Khago, Lady Saw, Sugar Minott, Wayne Wonder, Anthony Cruz, Barbee, Sasha, Turbulance, Ghost, Steele, Tifa, and Bubu Zaro, among others.
“Reggae Jammin Plus Vol 2 is all about taking the best of the best and putting them together in one beautiful collection,” remarked Dawkins Senior about the project, which includes hit songs such as My Heart by Wayne Marshall and Mavado, Straight Jeans from Vybz Kartel and Russian, Rum and Red Bull done by Beenie Man and Fambo, and Two Places by Hezron and Shaggy.
Reggae Jammin Plus Vol 2 comprise over 40 tracks all with different flair.
“The songs were carefully put together to ensure music lovers get the best of everything. There’s hardcore dancehall, lovers rock, some conscious numbers – you know everything to ensure listeners don’t want to stop listening,” Dawkins continued about the compilation album.
According to him, after releasing Reggae Jammin 1 and noticing how it was embraced by the market, he was encouraged to do volume two.
