Adrenaline still rushing for Maxwell

Charles Maxwell can be remembered from his televised debut into circuit racing on the Jamspeed Adrenaline Rush television series, which he won, and was heralded into circuit racing by Christopher “Teach” McPharlane.

On his entry to Dover racing in 2008 Maxwell made his impression on the circuit with his confidence.

He started his motor sports career drag racing at Vernamfield in Clarendon subsequently rally racing with the Jamaica Millenium Motor Racing Club (JMMC).

Maxwell was victorious in JMMC 2010 series and named JC2 class-champion after a breathtaking performance.

Now competing in the B27 racing class at Dover in a 1998 Tony’s Toys-sponsored Mitsubishi Evolution 5, Maxwell is confident that he will be successful in 2011. With much improvement done on the NCB-branded Evolution, this CRC Racing team member says is gearing up for bigger, better things.

“Coming out of last year we decided we need to get more power on the car, upgrade Turbo, and everyone has gotten faster, so we had to up the game a bit more to match the class,” said Maxwell.

With George Bayley set in his cross hairs, Maxwell says he perfecting his strategy to ensure he crosses the finish line ahead.

“I will be concentrating on George Bayley, I’m coming for him this Independence of Speed,” said Maxwell.
