Lost star Matthew Fox detained by police

People Post

Matthew Fox, star of the hit ABC show Lost, was detained by police last weekend after allegedly assaulting a woman. The 45-year old actor was taken into custody in Cleveland, Ohio, after an altercation outside a bar which saw Matthew atempting to get on board a party bus that he was not a guest on.

Although the exact circumstances are unknown, the bus driver, a woman called Heather Bormann, claims he punched her in “the breast and stomach area” after she attempted to stop him from boarding. “He just kept staring at me with his mouth wide open and not saying anything,” she told TMZ. “I told him, ‘You have to leave, buddy. You are trespassing on my bus.’” The actor, who she believed was drunk, then “leaned in and started punching my crotch and breast. I took one hand to his jaw and he was spitting blood. He stumbled backwards. This was my self defence,” she said.

According to the website, Fox was then detained by an off-duty officer and placed in handcuffs before the police arrived and took him into custody. Although he was later released without charge into the custody of a friend, the issue is still under investigation and an assault report was filed. The actor is in Cleveland filming I, Alex Cross, a thriller based on James Patterson’s murder mystery book series.

Shia’s insolence!

He is rapidly garnering a reputation for having a hot temper. So it is ironic that cold water is alleged to be the weapon of choice for Transformers star Shia LaBeouf’s latest outburst. The moody actor is reported to have put some water in his mouth before spitting it all over his date. He is then said to have turned his attention to shock rocker Marilyn Manson.

The incident allegedly occurred on Friday night at the Brings The Box to LA night at Paul And Andre: Hollywood, according to an eyewitness that spoke to Life and Style. Before the performance started, LaBeouf “seemed wasted” as he sat in a designated area with his date, presumably girlfriend Karolyn Pho, and Manson. Things either soon turned nasty or the 25-year-old decided to try out a practical joke that got out of hand.

The witness said: “Shia picked up a water bottle and shot a mouthful of water all over his date’s legs. Then he put more water in his mouth and started spitting it all over his tablemates, including Marilyn Manson.” Antichrist Superstar singer Manson tried to calm the actor down by offering him a fist bump, but it is claimed LaBeouf only grew more out of control. LaBeouf’s publicist denied there had been an argument, but did not deny the incident. She said: “Shia actually left early as planned. He went to see one of the bands performing in the showcase and left after they finished. Exiting through a crowded room was apparently misinterpreted. No altercation occurred.” This isn’t the first time the Indiana Jones star has caused concern with his public misbehaviour. Earlier this year LaBeouf was handcuffed by police after getting involved in a bar brawl.

“I felt like I had nothing to live for”

Former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson has spoken for the first time about how she has won her battle with post-natal depression (PND). Two years after the birth of her son Hank, the former Playboy centrefold said she has finally got her life back on track. She said she was happy to be posing in bikinis, having regained her model figure and got over mood swings caused by the PND.

The 26-year-old said: “It got pretty bad, not to the point where I would harm my family. I was a great mom and did what I needed to, but I was definitely very depressed.” She added that motherhood is a “big change in life and it happened overnight”. Wilkinson, who was one of Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner’s, girlfriends, talks in detail about her battle with depression in her new book Being Kendra: Cribs, Cocktails, and Getting My Sexy Back. She writes: “After giving birth, I never brushed my hair, my teeth, or took a shower. I looked in the mirror one day and was really depressed, I thought, ‘Look at me!’ I had this glamorous life in LA, and now I didn’t. A couple of times, I even said, ‘I just have nothing to live for’.”

Wilkinson also says in addition to her mood swings, she also experienced bouts of screaming, extreme jealousy, and emotional detachment. The model spoke about the PND battle to People magazine while hosting a pool party at Las Vegas’s Wet Republic. She said: “At the time I was doing whatever I could for the baby, but I lost myself and it was really frustrating.” To make matters worse her life was in the spotlight. She explained: “Being in the spotlight is a lot of pressure about losing the weight, (especially) coming from the Playboy world.”
