Lil Wayne’s ladies’ jeggings get their own Twitter account

Lil Wayne certainly made a splash at MTV’s Video Music Awards last week, although perhaps not for the reasons he hoped he would. The rapper’s outfit choice caused such a furore that an amused fan has set up a Twitter account in its honour. The 28-year-old, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., showed off a tattoo-covered bare chest and sported women’s jeggings of the animal print variety. And as a result of their popularity, a profile dedicated to the $44 item from punk brand Tripp NYC was set up on the social networking site under the name @Waynes_Jeggings. The account already has thousands of followers and largely posts tweets about being ironed and getting hung on a coathanger.

Kim Kardashian’s new husband Kris Humphries bumps into her sex tape co-star Ray J

Now that is an awkward encounter. Kris Humphries, the husband of Kim Kardashian, came face to face with the man who made a sex tape with the reality star. The basketball star found himself sitting alongside singer Ray J who achieved notoriety after a sex tape he made with Kardashian in a hotel room was leaked on the internet. The pair bumped into each other on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New Orleans on Sunday. Humphries, who boarded the flight during a stop-over in Minneapolis, was in an aisle seat across from the singer in first class, according to the New York Post. The newlywed moved to a seat in front of Ray J, with other passengers saying he was ‘stone-faced’ on realising who was on the flight. After minutes of what eye witnesses said was ‘awkward silence’, Ray J walked up to Humphries’ seat to congratulate him on his marriage, but the New Jersey Nets player acted like he didn’t recognise the R&B singer. A source told the Post: ‘Ray J said, “Come on, you know who I am. I just want to say congratulations.” Realising there was no way to escape the situation, Humphries said: “Oh yeah, yeah, I’m sorry I know who you are.”‘ It is believed to be the first time the two men have met.

Rihanna may need an Umbrella as she launches lawsuit over water leaks at her mansion

Pop star Rihanna has begun proceedings to sue several companies for water leaks at her $7 million US home. The Los Angeles Hillside mansion was purchased by the S&M singer in 2009 for $6.9 million but has now been pronounced ‘uninhabitable’ by the star as water has leaked into several rooms of the house. Problems occurred at the Beverly Hills home following a rainstorm in 2010, when water flooded several rooms in the mansion. Rihanna, 23, is convinced the former owner, Heather Rudamin, was aware of structural problems, including waterproofing defects and evidence of water intrusion. She filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court yesterday claiming that Rudamin had lied about the state of the property.

Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, has brought the lawsuit against Prudential California Realty and several other companies that designed and inspected the property.
