Half Moon hosts Sandals Montego in Ventura Elegant Corridor football opener
ROSE HALL, St James — DEFENDING champions Half Moon hotel will open the defence of their Ventura Elegant Corridor Inter-Hotel Football Competition on Monday when they host Sandals Montego Bay in the opening game at the Half Moon field, starting at 3:30pm.
Ten teams are down to take part in the competition that is expected to run just over a month with the final set for November 4.
Grand Palladium who lost last season’s final on sudden death penalty kicks heads Zone A which also includes Iberostar, Coyaba, Sandals Royal and Round Hill; while in Zone B, Grand Bahia Principe, Secrets Resorts, Riu Resorts and Sandals Montego Bay will accompany Half Moon.
The top two teams from each Zone will advance to the semi-finals that will be played on a knock-out basis with the winners squaring off in the finals.
All games will be played at Half Moon.
