Invaders face Flames in President’s Cup KO
BUNKERS HILL, Trelawny — Trelawny Football Association’s Major League champions Invaders SC will take on first round winners Flames in a second round President’s Cup Knockout game at Bunkers Hill this afternoon.
Invaders SC, who won the Major League last season and will compete in the Western Confederation Super League this season, will host Flames at Bunkers Hill.
Flames will be seeking their second win after beating Friendship FC 3-0 in a first-round game played on Friday.
Dwayne Duncan scored twice for Flames, in the seventh and 13th minutes, while Shannon Thelpia scored the other in the 40th minute.
In another game today, Kinloss the losing finalists in the Major League last season, will face Prospect Links who beat Granville 3-2 on penalty kicks after playing to a 1-1 draw last week.
