Curfews in St Andrew, St Catherine

SEVERAL curfews imposed in sections of St Andrew and St Catherine last night will remain in effect until 6:00 pm tomorrow.

The boundaries are as follows:

St Catherine

DELA VEGA CITY

NORTH: Along an imaginary line at Dela Vega City playing field from Port Henderson Road to Salt Pond Road;

SOUTH: Along the Spanish Town Bypass from Port Henderson Road to Salt Pond Road;

EAST: Along Port Henderson Road from Dela Vega City playing field to the Spanish Town Bypass;

WEST: Along Salt Pond Road from the Spanish Town Bypass to Dela Vega City playing field.

LIME TREE GROVE

NORTH: Along the canal bank between the bridge at the train line and Manjarine Drive;

SOUTH: Along Manjarine Drive between premises #67 on Manjarine Drive and Bernard Lodge main road;

EAST: Along Manjarine Drive between an imaginary line and premises #67 on Manjarine Drive;

WEST: Along Bernard Lodge main road between Manjarine Drive and the bridge at the train line.

#31 JOHNS ROAD

NORTH: Along St. Johns Road from the intersection with #31 Lane to the intersection with #33 Lane;

SOUTH:Along an imaginary line from the bottom of #31 Lane to the intersection with #33 Lane;

EAST: Along #31 Lane from the intersection with St. Johns Road to the intersection with the imaginary line at the bottom of the lane;

WEST: Along #33 Lane from the intersection with St. Johns Road to the intersection with the imaginary line at the bottom of the lane;

LAKES PEN

NORTH: Along the Rio Cobre from the western boundary to the eastern boundary;

EAST: Along an imaginary line from the Rio Cobre to Lakes Pen main road;

SOUTH: Along Lakes Pen main road from the eastern boundary to the western boundary;

WEST: Along an imaginary line from Lakes Pen main road to the Rio Cobre.

RIVOLI

NORTH: Along Monk Street from St. Jago High School to Leach Avenue;

SOUTH: Along Barrett Street between Red Church Street and the Rio Cobre bank;

EAST: Along an imaginary line along the Rio Cobre bank between St. Jago High School and Barrett Street;

WEST: Along Red Church Street between Leach Avenue and Barrett Street.

ZAMBIA/BROWN’S LANE

NORTH: Along Zambia main road, between Brown’s Lane and an imaginary line;

SOUTH: Along the canal bank, between an imaginary line and Brown’s Lane;

EAST: Along Brown’s Lane between Zambia main road and the canal bank;

WEST: Along an imaginary line between the Zambia main road and the canal bank.

BIG LANE, CENTRAL VILLAGE

NORTH: Along an imaginary line from Big Lane to the New Testament Church of God;

SOUTH: Along the Rio Cobre bank from Big Lane to an imaginary line leading from the New Testament Church of God to the river;

EAST: Along Big Lane from the imaginary line leading from the New Testament Church of God to the Rio Cobre bank;

WEST: Along an imaginary line from the New Testament Church of God to the Rio Cobre.

RAT TOWN, WATERFORD

NORTH: Along a gully from Shenton Avenue to the western boundary;

SOUTH: Along a dirt track from the western boundary to Shenton Avenue;

EAST: Along Shenton Avenue from the dirt track to the gully;

WEST: Along an imaginary line from the gully to the dirt track.

St Andrew

CAMP VIEW/ACKEE WALK/ KINTYRE

NORTH: Along Camp View Road from Housing Drive to St. Joseph Road;

EAST: Along St. Joseph Road from Camp View Road to Ackee Walk;

SOUTH: Along an imaginary line from Ackee Walk to Hill Ridge;

WEST: Along Hill Ridge from Ackee Walk to Housing Drive.

BOTTOM ROME/KEW PARK

NORTH: Along Kew Lane from Maxfield Avenue to the dead end at the eastern boundary;

EAST: Along an imaginary line from the dead end at Kew Lane to Phillip Drive;

SOUTH: Along Rousseau Road from Phillip Drive to Maxfield Avenue;

WEST: Along Maxfield Avenue from Rousseau Road to Kew Lane.

JUNGLE 12

NORTH: Along a narrow lane beside the SDA Church from Bryce Hill Lane to August Town Road;

SOUTH: Along Hillside Ridge from August Town Road to Marl Road;

EAST: Along August Town Road from the narrow lane beside the SDA Church to the dead end at Jungle 12;

WEST: Along Bryce Hill Lane from Marl Road to the narrow lane beside the SDA Church.

AFRICAN GARDENS

NORTH: Along an imaginary line from the hillside to African Gardens Square at 1 August Town Road;

SOUTH: Along an imaginary line from Hope River (“Bottom River”) to the unpainted two-storey house on the hillside;

EAST: Along an imaginary line from African Gardens Square at 1 August Town Road to Hope River (“Bottom River”);

WEST: Along the mountain range from the unpainted two-storey house on the hillside using an imaginary line to the hillside

During the hours of the curfews all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the members of the security forces in charge of enforcing the curfews.
