VIDEO: Hodges a victim of his cronies — Police
A fallout between members of the criminal underworld is believed to be the motive behind the murder of the country’s most wanted Navardo Hodges.
“Information we are receiving is that this may have been as a result of a fallout between members of the criminal underworld information is that the notorious gang leader may have fallen out of favour with some members of his own criminal network,” said a senior cop who asked not to be named.
Police report that a head and a body believed to be that of the top tier member of the Klansman gang was found near a business place on Burke Road, while the body was found on the Spanish Town Bypass.
Detectives are now on the scene, and are at this hour gathering clues and working to confirm the man’s identity.
Meanwhile a heavy police and military presence remain in the town as speculations continue to swirl and people gather to get a glimpse of the body part.
At the same time scores of residents who have gathered in the Spanish Town were whispering among themselves as police carried out inspection on the body of the man who is believed to that of the thug.
Police have linked Hodges to the death of a woman believed to be the sister of incarcerated Klansman boss Tesha Miller and also the death of a woman who was believed to be the mother of his child.
He is also suspected to have been the mastermind behind several beheadings which took place in the community of Lauriston earlier this year.
