Express Fitness to open on Saturday
MONTEGO BAY, St James – Express Fitness will commence the operation of two 24 -hour fitness clubs, simultaneously in western Jamaica this Saturday.
“Saturday February 25, 2012, will be celebrated in Jamaica as the day the fitness industry becomes more user friendly with the introduction of the 24-hour concept for gym membership at an affordable cost,” Melody Cargill, manager of Express Fitness told the Observer West.
The facilities will be located at Fairview Office Park, Montego Bay, St James, while the other will be based at the Whitehall plaza, Negril, Westmoreland.
According to Cargill, the St James and Westmoreland facilities are the first two of a chain of fitness clubs which the company intents to establish islandwide. Plans are now well advance to establish a third facility at a Kingston location soon, she revealed.
Cargill argued that the fitness clubs will significantly benefit persons who work late hours.
Fitness seekers desirous of becoming a member of Express Fitness is required to complete a membership agreement form. They are also asked to provide an identification card and their bank account number, as the company does not accept cash.
“The company is a cash free facility thanks to Direct Debit Jamaica Ltd….. so an ID and bank account will be required to complete your membership agreement on Opening Day,” the management of the company disclosed.
All members will be provided with a swipe card to gain access to any of the chain of facilities established across the island.
