Whenever I leave home during the week, except for the occasional mid-week beach day, it’s almost ALWAYS business-related, and for those who know me, I’m more than likely carrying at least three bags filled with a ton of ‘necessities’ to get me through my day.

I cannot set my foot past the front door without two things: one of those is my Digicel Bold 2. That’s a MUST; it keeps me connected to the four women in my family, my amazing friends and business associates. I’m officially in love — every entrepreneur needs that mini PA.

The second is my Digicel Mifi. With that, it’s easy to go online with my laptop, see large files from my graphic artist, send look books to collectors or communicate with suppliers in an instant.

Another must-have is my book Excellence. It’s a compilation of quotes from presidents, artists, philosophers and radicals. There’s a quote on being persistent by Malcolm Stevenson Forbes, publisher of Forbes, that says ‘Diamonds are nothing more than chunks of coal that stuck to their jobs’. I love that one.

If I leave home with just my Benjamin’s Olive Oil on my face or a fully made-up one, my MAC Lipgloss is a MUST! Every twist of the tube feels like Christmas morning!!

My business card holder — which always has my GraceKennedy Exclusive FX card, is something I always try to remember. My business cards represent Peace-is of Bianca, and more importantly, establishes a connection with future collectors.

I always have a tiny bottle of perfume with me. Most recently I’ve been carrying Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf, which ensures I smell wonderful!

My sunshades are also a must! Right now I’m rocking a pair of blinged-out Diors. They complement my bejewelled wrist full of our signature semi-precious stone bracelets. They’re my new summer staples that I love layering.

We all have necessities that keep us sane, lift our spirits, make us smile, keep us connected to love and maintain our balance throughout the day. Those were some of mine that ensure I am always in a peaceful state of mind.
