Mandeville car show on Sunday
COOL Mandeville is expected to heat up with Sunday’s staging of the Jamaica Motor Show at the Manchester Shopping Centre.
The used-car dealers’ auto show is the second since the start of the year and is organised by Firm Marketing Agency in association with Scotiabank.
“It’s our second time and patrons can expect a great auto show with the bestpriced vehicles, as well as the hottest vehicles all in one place, on one day,” said Ian Lyn, Firm Marketing Agency’s chief executive officer and event organiser.
In January, the group had a staging at the Police Officers Club in St Andrew.
Lyn, immediate past president of Jamaica Used-Car Dealers Association, said this show would be an improvement on earlier stagings.
“Patrons can look for a wide array of vehicles from all manufacturers. They can look for a well-decorated outdoor event throughout the day, as well as surprises and giveaways,” he said.
Some of the brands that will be on show include Toyota, Honda, Nissan, BMW, and Benz.
“We’re going to wow persons, it will be an experience,” he said. “This is the only auto show for usedcar dealers and where consumers can purchase cars for as low as $500,000 and as high as $50,000,000.”
Sponsors of the Jamaica Motor Show are Scotiabank, RBC, Churches Credit Union, Crichton Insurance, and CarMax Jamaica.
