MISSION CATWALK: BEHIND THE SCENES
The second season of Mission Catwalk is already creating a buzz, making Tuesday evening must-watch. The show, which airs on Television Jamaica (TVJ) features a talented group of local and regional designers who compete for prizes — such as that coveted trip to show their designs at London Fashion Week; $500,000 funding to start a clothing line courtesy of NCB; a six-page editorial in Ocean Style magazine; equipment valued at $200,000 courtesy of Singer; a contract to sell their designs at Soho Boutique and a scholarship to pursue a fashion programme at the London College of Fashion.
Call time each morning is 5:00 am, when there’s non-stop action until the producer demands each designer to be on set and for models to hit the catwalk.
