Engaged at last!
After seven years and six children, it seems Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally engaged.
A private jeweller for the couple has revealed he designed an engagement ring for the actress under the actor’s guidance.
A spokesperson for the jeweller says: “I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt.” The 36-year-old actress was spotted wearing the ring on her wedding finger at the Chinese Art collection at the LA County Museum earlier this month, where she was pictured with Brad, 48, and their son Pax, eight. The engagement has not yet been confirmed by Jolie’s representatives. Procop said: “Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realised over a year-long collaboration.
He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand. He continued: “Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”
Angelina has been married twice before — to British actor Jonny Lee Miller between 1996 and 1999 and then Billy Bob Thornton, from 2000 to 2003. Brad’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston lasted five years before they announced they were divorcing in early 2005 — which came after he had met Angelina on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith. Brangelina — as they became known — quickly became a Hollywood power couple, with a brood of six children; fiveyear-old Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, aged three, along with three adopted children Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, and Zahara, seven.

Surely she can afford a pedicurist!
The haute couture outfit, perfectly coiffed hair and the flawless make-up… it must be hard for a celebrity to remember everything that goes into a public appearance. So perhaps Madonna should have a checklist next time, as she appears to have forgotten to tick off her pedicure.
Despite her groomed exterior while launching her new fragrance in New York recently, the Queen of Pop rocked up with some rather unsightly toenails.
The 53-year-old seemingly suffered a bout of temporary amnesia when it came to nurturing her feet, confidently strutting onto the red, or rather, black carpet wearing a see-through chiffon skirt and peep-toe heels. Madonna’s fragrance is aimed at women aged 25 to 45, with the 35-45 subset being the primary target.
Speaking about the fragrance, Madonna told Women’s Wear Daily: “I have always been obsessed with fragrances… for years I wanted to create something personal that was an expression of me, but that other people could relate to as well. Something classical and timeless and yet modern.
My oldest memory of my mother is her perfume. I carry it with me everywhere. She always smelled like gardenias and tuberose, an intoxicating mixture (that was) feminine and mysterious. I wanted to recreate this scent, but with something fresh and new about it as well. Something honest and yet daring — hence the name Truth or Dare.”

Crazed fan breaks into P Diddy’s mansion!
A P Diddy-obsessed fan broke into the rap mogul’s mansion, gorged on his food and alcohol before parading around in his finest clothes, it has been revealed.
Quamine Taylor, 30, made himself at home in the East Hampton palace for almost 24 hours after breaking in through an unlocked basement door.
Diddy — real name Sean Combs — was away at the time. Police say this is not the first time Taylor has pulled the stunt having broken into the sprawling mansion more than 10 years ago. Taylor, who has a history of mental illness, told the New York Post that he’d been a frequent visitor to the property. “I’ve actually been going to the house from time to time since 2001,” he said from a cell at the Suffolk County Jail. “I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there.”
In his first break-in, Taylor tried to pass himself off as Combs’ cousin when cops found him intoxicated after he took a dip in the pool. This time, Taylor claimed he was a close personal friend and even convinced security staff and police he knew Diddy after he accidentally set off an alarm in the mansion. Taylor, who is unemployed, has been charged with trespassing and petit larceny and was being held in lieu of $2,000 bail. A Diddy spokeswoman declined to comment.
