FORMER many-time champions Waulgrovians ‘A’ and Tivoli ‘A’ will square off in the 2012 Berger Paints/JNA Super League feature at the Leila Robinson Courts today, beginning at 7:00 pm.

The two former champions are currently unbeaten with Tivoli ‘A’ leading the point standings with 15 from four games; Waulgrovians 12 from three, defending champions JAMALCO 12 from three; Mico ‘A’ 15 from four; UWI Pelicans ‘A’ five from three; WINDALCO five from five and Tivoli ‘B’ without a point from three matches.

The encounter between both Waulgrovians ‘A’ and Tivoli ‘A’ promises to be a ding-dong battle as both teams are seeking to keep their records intact and also to increase their lead in the points tally.

Meanwhile, Waulgrovians ‘A’, fresh from their thrilling 57-57 tie with defending champions JAMALCO, must be going all out for a win, so too Tivoli ‘A’, but both will have to work very hard for victory.

Meanwhile, results of matches played on Thursday, saw champions JAMALCO defeating UWI Pelicans ‘A’ 52-29 and Tivoli ‘A’ whipping WINDALCO 55-21.

On Tuesday, Mico ‘A’ defeated WINDALCO 55-37 and UWI Pelicans ‘A’ defeated Tivoli ‘B’ 57-33.

In other Super League game today, UWI Pelicans ‘A’ will face Mico ‘A’, starting at 6:40 pm.
