Beyoncé named world’s most beautiful woman
Beyoncé has been named as the world’s most beautiful woman by People magazine. Smiling serenely from the front cover of the annual special issue, Beyoncé reveals: “I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this Earth.” The star, who welcomed baby Blue Ivy on January 7, adds: “The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy. The word ‘love’ means something completely different now.” Beyonce also revealed how breast-feeding her little one for 10 weeks helped her lose ‘the bulk’ of her pregnancy weight, but that she’s now on a strict protein-based diet. Beyoncé tops a list of ten most beautiful stars nominated by the magazine, and other categories including ‘beauty at every age’ and ‘stunning stars’.

Third marriage sees Beatle climb back up the rich list
His previous marriage cost him £24.3 million thanks to a bitter divorce battle. But Sir Paul McCartney’s decision to tie the knot for a third time has propelled him back up the rich list. The Beatle’s fortune has swelled by £170 million in the past year, mostly thanks to his wedding last October to Nancy Shevell. The US heiress’s £150 million stake in her family’s haulage business, allied with £20 million from his touring and album sales, means Sir Paul, 69, is now worth an estimated £665 million, and jumps from fourth spot to third in the Sunday Times Rich List of Britain’s wealthiest musicians. It is in sharp contrast with the damage done to his bank balance by the end of his four-year marriage to Heather Mills, mother of his eight-year-old daughter Beatrice, in 2006.
