Edwin Allen takes 4x400m as well
PHILADELPHIA, USA- Edwin Allen high girls were the toast of a bitterly cold Franklin Field in Philadelphia today winning two Championships of America relays after they added the 4x400m to the 4×800 they had won earlier today at the 118th Penn Relays.
The team of Saqukine Cameron, Desreen Montague, Shawnette Lewin and Camira Haughton that was being run for the first time this season clocked 3 minutes 42.06 seconds to beat Holmwood Technical and defending champions Vere Technical as three Jamaican schools finished in the top three spots.
A fourth Jamaican team Herbert Morrison was eighth in 4 minutes 01.98 seconds.
Edwin Allen who had won their first ISSA/GraceKennedy Girls Champs earlier this month had won two field events on Thursday, the discus throw and high jump and was third in the 4x10m yesterday.

The Michael Dyke coached team were winning their ninth title since 2003 when they won their first title in the 4x800m, five in the longer race and two each in the 4x400m and 4x100m.
