Saint International (JA) LTD and Scotiabank hosted High Tea n’ Style — a charity event in celebration of Jamaica’s 50th year of independence — under the distinguished patronage of Lady Allen Thursday last, on the lawns of King’s House. Though the spectacular fashion showcase by local designers Lisa McIntosh-Aris and Courtney Washington was the highly anticipated feature of the afternoon, it was hard to feign indifference to the ladies in their fabulous hats. Staying true to the dress code of ‘celebrating Jamaica’, some ladies opted for hats that paid homage to our national colours — and what better way than with chic hat designs? The seemingly popular choice was from local boutique, Cinderella Hats.
