David Beckham goes shirtless for Elle
He’s famous for showing off his incredibly toned physique, and his sexy shoot for Elle magazine is no different. But despite shedding his clothes for the pictures, David Beckham has insisted he is a ‘shy’ man, and has never been interested in fame or money. He said: “I never thought about the money, the fame — it never interested me and it doesn’t interest me now. None of that has ever excited me. How would I sum myself up? I don’t know, I prefer other people to do that. Erm, a little bit shy. I don’t know what to say, I hate describing myself.” David, who with wife Victoria is worth £165 million, also spoke about his marriage, insisting that while he and Victoria have different interests, they always make time for one another. The father-of-four said: “She comes home and shows me what she’s been doing all day and what exciting dresses and bags she’s got coming through. And then I say something boring like ‘I got kicked today’. But we listen to each other. We try to go out at least once a week, just the two of us, a quiet dinner somewhere.”

Lindsay Lohan being chased for unpaid $40,000 tanning bill
Lindsay Lohan still hasn’t paid the $41,031 she owes to a tanning company. Nine months ago, the troubled actress was ordered by a judge in Nevada to pay Tanning Vegas — run by entrepreneur Lorit Simon — what was owed. Now the company is trying to get the case moved to California so they can cite her assets and force her to pay up, according to TMZ. Lindsay racked up the huge bill between 2007 to 2009 when she was a client of the tanning company.
Lindsay is current trying to resurrect her acting career and will next star as Dame Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime movie Liz and Dick alongside True Blood’s Grant Bowler in the role of Richard Burton.

Queen to make William Knight of the Thistle to mark his 30th birthday
The Queen has awarded her grandson, Prince William, one of her highest orders of chivalry to mark his 30th birthday next month. The future king is to be made a Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle. Appointments to the Order of the Thistle are entirely in the personal gift of The Queen and are not made on the advice of the Prime Minister, as are most other Honours. The Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle — whose motto is Nemo Me Impune Lacessit, No one provokes me with impunity — represents the highest honour the Queen can bestow in Scotland. It is another sign of the prince’s gradual introduction into becoming a full-time senior working royal, although for the time being he will continue to work as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot in North Wales. William, 29, who is known as The Earl of Strathearn north of the border, will be formally welcomed into the order in a ceremony at Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh in the next few weeks.
