Eight advance in Wray & Nephew domino tourney
EIGHT teams (bars) have qualified for the 2012 Wray and Nephew Over Proof White Rum/Jamaica National Domino Association (JNDA) quarter-finals scheduled to be played tomorrow at Kelly’s Roof Top, Giltress Street, Rollington Town, beginning at 1:00 pm.
At the completion of the preliminary rounds in all four clusters, the winners and runners-ups in each are as follows: Cluster One won by View’s Stars with Glen Place finishing in second place; Cluster Two was won by Comfitanya Sports Bar with Pub Angelique in second place; Cluster Three was won by Starlight Bar from Texas Crew and Movie’s Star claimed Cluster Four ahead of Sparrow Roost.
The four quarter-finals pairings will see View’s Star going up agaist Pub Angelique, Comfitanya versus Glen Place, Starlight taking on Sparrow Roots, and Movie’s Stars playing Texas Crew.
