Beenie Man hops onto Here Comes Your Life remix
Dancehall kingpin Beenie Man has jumped on a remix of the David M song, Here Comes Your Life.
Steven ‘Lenky’ Marsden, Sly and Robbie and Kirk Bennett are on the beat, with Diana King contributing background vocals.
Here Comes Your Life is released by the BGM Entertainment label and was written by David M. The track is reportedly picking up steam on radio in the United States and Europe.
Its video was directed by Adrian and Amanda Lopez of Liquid Light Digital, attracting over 80,000 views on YouTube.
Reggae Grassroots Volume 1 debuts on Belgium ITunes chart
The compilation album, Reggae Grass Roots Volume 1 from Donsome Records, debuted at number 68 on the Belgium ITunes Top 100 album chart.
Adrian ‘Donsome’ Hanson and his musical partner Shady co-produced the album which is expected to become an annual series.
“I wanted to do an album that is full of roots, real grassroots music, with positive messages. By the time we finished the album, we stuck with the theme, Hanson explained.
He said feedback has been overwhelming.
“The reaction from real lovers of roots and reggae music have indicated that this is a nice reggae roots vibes for the summer.
Some of the songs on Reggae Grass Roots Vol 1 are Tek Away by Erasto; Famine and Drought by I Wayne, What a Whoa by Lutan Fyah; Da Truth by Ce’Cile; Jah Will See Us Thru by Ancient; Speedy by Jah Mason; Put it Away by Sizzla; Lost our Way by I Octane; and Tired of Sleeping in The Rain by Anthony B.

His EP (extended play) Sing is in its second week at the top of the album table. The title track has jumped from 11 to number one on the Top 40.
Sing is credited to Gary Barlow featuring the Commonwealth Band and Military Wives. Jamaican musicians, drummer Sly Dunbar, bass player Robbie Shakespeare, and guitarist Ernest Ranglin played on the track.
