On a balmy night last Thursday, fashionably clad guests turned up at the Wyndham Kingston hotel’s poolside for the unveiling of the much-hyped ‘The Collections’. Slovakian-born fashion designer Lubica Kucerova — more identifiable to the Jamaican public as Usain Bolt’s alleged ex-girlfriend than for her design talent — generated the most buzz ahead of the show. What with her recently inked, six-month partnership with Audi and the premiere of her fashion film, Beyond, directed by Nile and Storm Saulter, all eyes were on Lubica. Not to be outdone, two other designers also showed. Spokes Apparel revealed their trendy menswear line while Red Carter sent his swimwear designs down the runway.

Off the runway, ATL Automotives’ line of Audi autos whipped up their fair share of excitement as patrons checked out the Audi A1, Q7, A6, A4 and the new Audi A5. We share scenes from ‘The Collections’.
