Arthur Williams Snr loved by all

It is with deep regret that I learnt of the passing of Arthur Williams Snr early Friday.
Arthur Williams Snr was one of those great old-time politicians who was loved by everyone. His cheerful disposition and accommodating manner made him immensely popular. He will be remembered not only for his political contribution, but his contribution to teaching.
Arthur Williams Snr was also the first president of the Manchester Lay Magistrate’s Association. I know that I speak on behalf of all the Lay Magistrates in the parish when I say that he was a man who gave great service to the country and to the community, and for that we thank him.
On behalf of us all in Manchester, I send my sincere condolences to his son, Arthur Williams Jnr, and the rest of his family.
May his soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon him.
