People Post

Eva Longoria has no intention of sitting at home mourning the end of her relationship with Eduardo Cruz. Just a few weeks after their split, the 37-year-old actress was spotted on a dinner date Friday night with her latest paramour, 25-year-old New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.

The new couple appeared completely at ease as they sat at an outdoor table near Sanchez’s Colonial cottage at Donald Trump’s National Golf Club in New York. They were joined by several other friends on their low-key evening out. The following night Eva stepped out to a Broadway show and dinner at Nobu with her new beau, who managed to stay out of camera range.

However, a source in Manhattan told Mail Online that Eva was with the hunky football player for the evening’s activities. The star recently revealed she was going on a ‘new journey’ in her life following the end of Desperate Housewives, in which she played Gabrielle Solis. Now it appears she is ready to explore new territory with handsome NFL player Sanchez. The athlete was recently linked to Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton.

The horror

Nicole Scherzinger looked on in horror as boyfriend Lewis Hamilton was involved in a horrorific smash at the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday. Hamilton crashed out of the Belgian Grand Prix just seconds in to the race after a pile-up just seconds after it started on the course’s la Source hairpin bend.

The McLaren star’s dreams of success came to an abrupt end when he became involved in a dramatic four-car pile-up on the very first corner of the track — but thankfully he walked away unscathed. The X Factor judge could only look on in horror as she watched her boyfriend’s car propelled into the air and smash into tiny fragments. The fear in the eyes of the 34-year-old singer was unmistakeable as she looked on in disbelief from the safety of the stands.

Although initially visibly shaken, Nicole closed her eyes in relief as she watched the 27-year-old sportsman safely walk away from the wreckage of the vehicle. Prior to the disastrous race — eventually won by Hamilton’s McLaren teammate Jenson Button — both Lewis and Nicole seemed to be in good spirts, posting pictures of themselves together on their respective Twitter pages. The former Pussycat Dolls singer said: “In Belgium for the Grand Prix to support my man @LewisHamilton for his race this wkend:).”

And Nicole was on hand to guide her man in the wake of the dramatic crash. Following the incident, she tweeted: “We love and support you to the end babe…@LewisHamilton.” Meanwhile, the Formula One star’s mood was more reflective as he looked forward to the next Grand Prix in Monza, Italy. He said: “Sometimes, bad days are there to remind us that we have good ones to look forward to. So here’s to Monza! Onto the next one…” The dramatic crash occurred when the drivers made their way around the tight La Source hairpin just seconds into the race.

She’s definitely a man-eater!

Milla Jovovich took her status as a man-eater a little to literally as she attended the world premiere of Resident Evil: Retribution. The model took centre stage as she was greeted warmly by fans at Roppongi Hills, in Tokyo, Japan, earlier yesterday.

The 36-year-old was joined by a zombie whom she had seemingly taken a bite out of as he sported some very convincing flesh wounds. The man, who was covered in white and red paint to make him look like a member of the undead, may have drawn a few gasps from the audience, but all eyes were on Milla.

The mother-of-one showed her model prowess as she graciously spoke to the crowd and introduced her new horror movie. Even the sight of the zombie in a pair of dangerously tight striped briefs couldn’t throw her off her stride. Milla shone as she wore a strapless black dress that showed off her womanly figure and she teamed it with a pair of heels.

With her bobbed hair sporting some loose curls and her gold clutch bag held firmly in her hand, there was no doubt who the leading lady was. Nevertheless she was happy for her husband and director of the Resident Evil series, Paul W S Anderson, to join her on stage and replace the awkward zombie.

In the fifth film of the popular saga, Alice, played by Jovovich, is still out to destroy the evil Umbrella Corporation, but joins a group of survivors who want to relocate to the mysterious but supposedly unharmed safe haven known as Arcadia.
