Introducing the ‘TIM-BIEL-AKES’

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel — otherwise known as the Tim-Bielakes — have been pictured together for the first time since becoming man and wife.

The happy couple was spotted last Sunday at the airport in Italy, where they were jetting off to a mystery location; perhaps on their honeymoon. Timberlake was dressed casually in a hoodie and jeans, while Biel donned a white hat and coat, teamed with black trousers. Earlier the radiant-looking newly-wed was seen taking a stroll at the Borgo Egnazia Resort in Fasano, Italy, waving off her guests and showing off her stunning wedding ring. Wearing a simple loose-fitting white T-shirt and black leggings, the Total Recall star couldn’t seem to keep the smile off her face as she basked in the glory of being a married woman. Speaking to People, Timberlake described the special day as a “magical, unforgettable evening”.

His blushing wife also gushed about the ceremony and said: “It was a fantasy.”

It’s a wrap for Gossip Girl

It has documented the love lives and drama of the likes of Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen since 2007. But now as the sixth season of Gossip Girl h a s drawn to a close, the cast made sure they went out with a bang.

Posting a series of emotional snaps on their respective Twitter pages, the show’s stars Blake Lively and Chace Crawford said goodbye to their co-stars with a funpacked party. And although filming for the New York-based teen drama has now wrapped for the final time, the cast didn’t seem to be too down in the dumps. In one group shot, Leighton Meester — who plays pampered princess Blair — poked her tongue out playfully at the camera while her co-stars smiled happily. Meanwhile, Lively looked happy and relaxed as she posed with her arms wrapped around Crawford and Ed Westwick. But it wasn’t long before the bash appeared to descend into a huge food fight, with the stars smearing a giant cake all over their faces.

Crawford happily tucked into some delicious icing, while Penn Badgley and Michelle Trachtenberg posed for the camera with the tasty treat smudged all over their bodies. After five years on screen, the end of Gossip Girl was announced earlier this year.

‘I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!’

The X Factor USA h a s been renewed for a third season, with new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato proving a hit with viewers. Simon Cowell and US network Fox made the announcement on Monday, ahead of next week’s highly anticipated live shows.

“I couldn’t be happier about the X Factor already being renewed for another season,” said Cowell in a statement. “I am so proud of the show and the team who have made it this season. Most importantly, I have to personally thank our amazing fans for the support and enthusiasm they have given to The X Factor.”

“Our main commitment will always be to find great talent, and let’s not forget, we are now days away from our first live shows. The gloves are off! Expect fireworks!” Cowell added. According to Fox, the TV talent show is averaging around 10.6 million total viewers. The decision to bring in Spears and Lovato to replace judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger seems to have paid off, with the show listed by Fox as one of the five top entertainment shows among teenagers.

“This season, Simon and the producers of The X Factor took an already strong show and made it absolutely fantastic,” said Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment at Fox. The format changes are working, the contestants are unbelievably talented, and Britney and Demi — alongside Simon and LA [Reid] — have brought an incredibly fun new chemistry to the judges’ panel,” he said.
